A Healthy Brain Starts With…Your Ears?

If you want to keep your brain healthy, you might want to start by getting your hearing checked. A growing body of research has found a strong link between cognitive health and hearing loss. Frank Lin from Johns Hopkins University found that the risk of dementia was substantially higher among patients with hearing loss in a landmark study in 2013, while recently published research in The Lancet found that hearing loss was the top modifiable risk factor for dementia.
